1. Who we are
This Content Policy is issued by EP Management, Inc., a Texas corporation doing business as Authority Builder ("we," "us," "our").
2560 King Arthur Blvd, Suite 124-114, Lewisville, TX 75056 · support@authoritybuilder.io
EP Management, Inc. also produces shows and programs under other brands, including Investor Fuel and Founder Fuel. This policy covers content created for any of them.
2. Who and what this policy covers
This policy applies to everyone who creates, records, submits or appears in content with us ("you"), including:
- Authority Builder clients, paid or included
- podcast guests on any of our shows, and the guests that Guest Host clients bring to our shows
- Guest Hosts
- Authority Spotlight buyers
- participants in our challenges, webinars and other marketing programs
- anyone who applies to any of the above
It covers all content: recordings, episodes, videos, clips, shorts, transcripts, articles, posts, show notes, images, books, Authority Spotlight packages, voice memos, uploads, and anything we create from them, in any format, now or later.
How this fits with your other terms. If you're a client, your Client Agreement also applies. If you're a guest, applicant, Authority Spotlight buyer or program participant, our Guest Release and Marketing Terms also apply. If anything in those documents conflicts with this policy, those documents control.
3. What's not allowed
Normal business talk is never a problem. Our shows are educational, not sales pitches; guests may close with a short call to action. We don't publish content that:
- Asks the audience to invest in a specific deal or offers securities
- Makes dangerous health claims or gives medical advice as fact
- Promises the audience income, returns or results
- Shares private information about a real person without their permission, including anyone's financial, health or contact details
- Accuses a named person or company of a crime or fraud
We also don't publish content that:
- is unlawful, or encourages anything unlawful
- harasses, threatens or demeans anyone, or is hateful toward any group
- is sexually explicit or graphic
- uses music, images, footage or other material you don't have the rights to
- is false or misleading, including made-up testimonials, reviews, results or credentials
- impersonates someone or misrepresents who you are
- gives legal, tax, financial or securities advice presented as advice to the audience
- shares confidential information belonging to someone else
- on our shows, is about politics or religion
Profanity is muted automatically.
The numbers rule. We never make up prices, rates, returns or results. Any figure in your content must come from you, and you're responsible for it being accurate.
4. You're responsible for what you say
You're responsible for your statements, claims, credentials, offers and calls to action, and for following the rules that apply to your industry. If your business is regulated (for example, securities, lending, insurance, healthcare, legal or real estate brokerage), we recommend you review your content approach with your own counsel. That's your decision.
Statements made by guests, hosts and clients are their own opinions. We don't verify them, and publishing them isn't an endorsement.
5. Our right to edit, decline and remove
We decide what we publish. At our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason not prohibited by law, with or without notice, we may:
- edit, cut, mute, shorten or reformat any content
- decline to publish any content, including content that was approved, scheduled or recorded
- remove or unpublish any content from any channel we control
- turn away any applicant, guest or participant, before or after recording
That includes content that breaks this policy, could create legal exposure, or could harm our brands, shows or reputation, or our clients'. Declined, edited or removed content doesn't entitle anyone to a credit, refund or explanation.
6. Use of your name, likeness and content
By creating, recording or submitting content with us, you grant us the right to use your name, image, likeness, voice, biography, logo, statements and the content itself to produce, publish, distribute, repurpose, advertise and promote our shows, programs and services, in any media, worldwide, without payment to you.
- Guests, applicants, Authority Spotlight buyers and program participants: we own the recordings and the content created from them. Your release is perpetual and irrevocable, as set out in the Guest Release and Marketing Terms.
- Clients: ownership of your content and our license to use it are set out in your Client Agreement.
7. Removal requests
You can ask us to remove content by emailing support@authoritybuilder.io with a link to the item and the reason. What happens depends on where the content lives:
- Content we published to a client's own accounts (their social profiles, Google Business Profile, website and similar): we remove it on request, as set out in the Client Agreement.
- Content on our shows and channels (episodes, clips, posts and show pages, including Guest Host episodes and guest appearances): we own it, and removal is at our discretion. We'll review every request, but we're not required to honor it.
If we agree to remove something, allow up to 10 business days. We'll often move faster. We can only remove content from channels we control, not copies others have shared or downloaded.
8. AI
We use artificial intelligence to help produce content, including transcripts, edits, clips, show notes, written pieces and images. AI can make mistakes. Content may be produced and published automatically.
9. Reporting a concern
If you see content of ours that you believe breaks this policy or infringes your rights, email support@authoritybuilder.io with a link and a short explanation.
10. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. The current version is posted in the client portal and on our website, and it applies once posted.
